BIM World MUNICH, the international event for the digitalization of the construction, real estate and facility management industries, will open its doors for the 9th time from 26 – 27 November. For the first time, the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport is the Executive Partner of BIM World MUNICH and all visitors will have the opportunity to watch the presentation of the “BIM-Preis Bayern” (in German).
The Bavarian Ministry of Construction at BIM World MUNICH
The Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport will have an extensive presence at this year’s BIM World MUNICH. On the morning of the first day, Minister of State Christian Bernreiter will give a keynote speech on the large main stage of the congress and emphasise the need for digitalization in the construction industry. This will be followed by a short press conference in the BIM Studio, to which all press representatives are cordially invited. Finally, Mr. Bernreiter will tour the exhibition area to gain an impression of the solutions and innovations showcased at BIM World MUNICH: ‘Digital transformation and supporting those involved is one of our most important tasks. By utilising the BIM working method, buildings can be planned, built and operated more efficiently and with higher quality. I am looking forward to interesting discussions and many new impressions.’
Exclusive event ‘Digital Construction Management Day’
In order to provide cities and municipalities with an appropriate platform, the Bavarian Ministry of Construction is organising the ‘Building Administration Day Digital’ at BIM World, to which leading municipal associations and building authorities as well as the Bavarian Association of Municipalities and Cities will be invited. The programme includes presentations on ‘BIM expertise made in Bavaria’ in the morning and a ‘BIM look beyond the horizon’ in the afternoon.
One of the highlights of the first day: the presentation of the “BIM-Preis Bayern”
Since 2023, the Bavarian Ministry of Construction, together with the BIM Cluster Bavaria, has been awarding the BIM-Preis Bayern for innovative projects in Bavaria that highlight digitalization in the construction industry. The prize is awarded annually with changing focus topics and special awards, and this year BIM World MUNICH will provide the stage for honouring the award winners for the first time. On the evening of the first day, the award ceremony will take place on an open stage and is open to all visitors to the event.
BIM World MUNICH accompanies the presence of the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport with comprehensive communication measures before, during and after the event and informs visitors about the programme content via newsletter and social media.

Das Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr verleiht den BIM-Preis Bayern auf der BIM World MUNICH 2025
Vom 26. – 27. November öffnet die BIM World MUNICH, das internationale Event für die Digitalisierung der Bau-, Immobilien- und Facility Management Branchen, zum 9. Mal ihre Pforten. Das Bayerische Bauministerium auf der BIM World MUNICH
Auf der diesjährigen BIM World MUNICH wird das Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr mit einer umfangreichen Präsenz vertreten sein. Am Vormittag des ersten Tages wird Staatsminister Christian Bernreiter eine Keynote auf der großen Hauptbühne des Kongresses halten und die Notwendigkeit der Digitalisierung in der Baubranche unterstreichen. Im Anschluss findet ein kurzes Pressegespräch im BIM Studio statt, zu dem alle Pressevertreter herzlich eingeladen sind. Abschließend verschafft sich Herr Bernreiter bei einem Rundgang über die Ausstellungsfläche einen Eindruck von den Lösungen und Innovationen auf der BIM World MUNICH: „Die digitale Transformation und die Unterstützung der Beteiligten ist eine unserer wichtigsten Aufgaben. Exklusive Veranstaltung „Bauverwaltungstag Digital“
Um den Städten und Kommunen eine entsprechende Bühne zu geben, veranstaltet das Bayerische Bauministerium auf der BIM World den „Bauverwaltungstag Digital“, zu dem kommunale Spitzenverbände und Baubehörden sowie der Bayerische Gemeinde- und Städtetag geladen werden. Das Programm beinhaltet Vortragsthemen rund um “BIM-Expertise made in Bavaria” am Vormittag und nachmittags wird ein “BIM-Blick über den Tellerrand” geworfen.

Für innovative Projekte in Bayern, die die Digitalisierung im Bauwesen unterstreichen, lobt das Bayerische Bauministerium gemeinsam mit dem BIM-Cluster Bayern seit 2023 den BIM-Preis Bayern aus. Der Preis wird jährlich mit wechselnden Schwerpunktthemen und Sonderauszeichnungen verliehen und dieses Jahr bietet die BIM World MUNICH erstmalig die Bühne für die Ehrung der Preisträger.
