Startups, scaleups, and SMEs in the construction, smart building, PropTech, or BIM sectors are invited to take part in the 8th Smart Building / Smart Construction Innovation World Cup®. The participation is free of charge.
The construction industry faces growing expectations for more sustainable, efficient, and digitally integrated processes. Startups and emerging companies are playing a key role in meeting these challenges. In collaboration with Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Bau and Würth, the Innovation World Cup® is looking for solutions that contribute to shaping the future of the built environment.
The competition is open to innovations in four categories:
Planning / Construction / Operations of buildings and infrastructure / Environmental solutions
The top 40 selected companies will be invited to present their solutions on stage at BIM World MUNICH 2025!
Opportunities for participants include:

- Expert feedback and guidance for business development
- Eligibility for further presentations at international tech events
In addition, companies can opt for a startup all-inclusive package, which includes exhibition space for two days and a presentation slot on the Innovation Stage in BIM Town. A discount is available for participants in the Innovation World Cup®.
