Scan2BIM großer Bestandsgebäude: Von der raschen und exakten Vermessung bis zur automatischen Generierung eines IFC-Modells

Description

Bauen im Bestand erfordert die BIM-Modellierung von Bestandsimmobilien als Basis einer effektiven Planung. Das Projekt umfasst die Vermessung eines Universitätsgebäudes des “Institute of Science and Technology Austria” mittels terrestrischem Laserscanner und die anschließende automatisierte Generierung eines kompakten 3D-Modells im „Industry Foundation Classes“ (IFC)-Standard.

In zwei Tagen wurden fünf Stockwerke mit über 1200 hochauflösende Laserscans mit Panoramafotos bei laufendem Betrieb aufgenommen. Der RIEGL VZ-600i 3D-Laserscanner wurde aufgrund seiner hohen Aufnahmegeschwindigkeit und der automatischen Onboard-Registrierung der Scanpositionen ausgewählt.

Mithilfe der MapShots AI Software wurde in wenigen Stunden ein BIM Modell automatisch extrahiert. LiDAR-Punktwolken werden dabei mittels Algorithmen des maschinellen Lernens und der Computer verarbeiten. Das Verfahren identifiziert strukturelle und architektonische Elemente, darunter Wände, Böden, Türen und Fenster.

Monitoring the Progress of Concrete Pouring Activities with Knowledge Graph (KG)-Enhanced Computer

BIM4SmartRegions – Digital Twins for Buildings and Cities presented by LOC and Runder Tisch GIS e.V.

Accurate progress tracking is crucial to minimize delays and waste in concrete pouring. Traditional Computer Vision (CV) struggles to integrate contextual data, limiting accuracy. This research presents a Knowledge Graph (KG)-enhanced CV method. Combining object detection with BIM data, it creates a KG representing spatial-temporal relationships between components and resources (e.g., mixer, bucket, hose, workers). Rule-based logic and Graph Neural Networks (GNN) analyze frames to identify pouring states and cycles. Experiments on ten samples from two sites show 80.3% accuracy (rule-based) and 89.2% (GNN). This KG-enhanced CV approach improves generalizability, offering valuable insights for construction performance, waste reduction, and sustainability.

In diesem Vortrag wird die Inbetriebnahme eines großen Industriestandorts anhand des neuen BMW-Werks in Debrecen, Ungarn, vorgestellt, bei der Building Information Modeling (BIM) und die Information Delivery Specification (IDS) zentral eingesetzt werden. Diese digitalen Methoden ermöglichen eine strukturierte, transparente Datenverwaltung und fördern eine reibungslose Zusammenarbeit aller Beteiligten. Der Einsatz von IDS sorgt dafür, dass benötigte Informationen gezielt und bedarfsgerecht bereitgestellt werden, was die Effizienz und Präzision in allen Projektphasen – von der Planung bis zur Inbetriebnahme – erheblich steigert. Das BMW-Werk in Debrecen bietet ein richtungsweisendes Beispiel für die erfolgreiche Umsetzung moderner digitaler Planungsansätze im Industrieanlagenbau und gibt Aufschluss über die zukünftigen Standards in der Industrieplanung.
