A Tale of Three Cities: One BIM Does Not Rule Them All
Description
BIM is not a rigid mandate; it must be mutable to serve the design output. This session explores “A Tale of Three Cities,” proving why one BIM maturity level does not rule them all. Starting with a strategic framework for defining targeted BIM tiers, we will analyse three complex projects: Xian CCBD in China, EAN University in Colombia, and Changi Airport in Singapore. We will dissect how to adapt BIM workflows to match exact project requirements, from simple coordination to granular data delivery. The focus will be in how digital tools and sustainability strategy adapts to each unique case to serve design goals and studio values.
