Description

We all know very well that BIM World is all about digitalization of the construction, real estate, and facility management industries. – And, of course, digitalization is not something that is unique to our very industries but is an essential part of all industries, thanks to advances in information technology, let alone AI.

To embrace digitalization to the fullest, not only data is needed but coherent information from many different sources and aspects; this helps software to thrive, build digital twins and exchange valuable data with others to optimize value creation and offer new and unique solutions.

Michael Byczkowski is working on such aspects in healthcare and life sciences, and the similarities are striking: he will show us, how software-based innovations are changing industries and the world.

Description

usBIM is a web based Technology providing SaaS modular architecture of services enabling BIM user-friendly operations for both small teams of collaborators and very big organizations. The customizable architecture makes easier to build up specific services for final customers and to integrate the service with specific contextual IT requirements. This agile approach accelerates the build-up, the testing and the final deployment of the CDE service for specific organizations requirements and regulations. The core mechanism takes advantage of the IFC schema of models and creates an interoperable environment between these approximatively 50 different modules. The platform can as well use pre-built interfaces and connections with other external platforms and services to distribute, to exchange or to create seamless combined environments. This collaborative technology creates an added value of the open BIM data and allows a larger extension to IoT, AI, FM, and BI in order to setup and manage better digitals twins. With geotwin, a specific interface between usBIM/ACCA and ArGis/Esri, the portfolio of assets in the platform and all the features become accessible on the scale of the territory and opens a brand new building and infrastructure management paradigm.
