Construct-X – the sovereign digital infrastructure for the construction industry

Construct-X develops a federated sovereign digital infrastructure for the construction industry. This includes a data space for the secure and trusted exchange of information and elements for Cloud-Edge-Continuum infrastructure. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the European Union, Construct-X uses basic elements and open-source principles of Manufacturing-X and Gaia-X, the EU-lighthouse projects to establish digital sovereignty for Europe’s industries and societies. Construct-X unites 34 partners from the construction industry, the craftmanships, the IT-branches and research and development institutes. Construct-X aligns all development work alongside ten use cases that are of particular practical importance for planning, construction and managing building, both of the infrastructure and the building sector as well as factory construction.
