However, as a partner of RM Rudolf Müller Events GmbH and through the use of our services, it may be necessary to process personal data. The processing of personal data, for example the name, address, e-mail address or telephone number of a person concerned, always takes place in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and in accordance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to BIMWORLD Germany GmbH. When you contact us, we collect the following information from you:

Company name, full company address, website URL, title, name, position in the company, e-mail address, telephone number and other information that you provide when making an enquiry or booking for our services in relation to the contact specified.

We process this information,

  • to process your request;
  • to identify you as an interested party or customer or their contact person;
  • to provide and invoice our services;
  • for contract-related communication.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit b GDPR (pre-contractual measures at the request of the person concerned or performance of a contract with the person concerned). The processing is necessary for answering inquiries or concluding and executing a concluded contract. The use of our services is not possible without the processing of this data.

If you are not yourself the interested party who has made an enquiry or are our contractual partner, but employees of a company to which this applies, we have received your personal data either from that company or from you personally; the processing purposes mentioned above relate to the company and we process your data to safeguard our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of the company, namely to enable the processing of the enquiry or the fulfilment of the contract.

We also process these data

  • to safeguard legitimate interests; this includes direct marketing and the assertion, enforcement and defence of claims;
  • to fulfil the legal obligations to which we are subject; this includes obligations to keep records in accordance with commercial and tax law and the disclosure of information to third parties, in particular authorities and courts.

The legal basis for safeguarding legitimate interests is Art. 6 para. 1 lit f GDPR.

The legal basis for the fulfilment of legal obligations is Art. 6 para. 1 lit c GDPR.

A transmission of the above-mentioned data only takes place for the above-mentioned purposes. Your data will only be passed on to third parties or our service providers on the basis of the above-mentioned legal bases.

Without your consent we will only pass on your data to third parties in the following cases:

The processor processes the data exclusively for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 28 GDPR (order processing).

We store personal data for as long as is necessary to process an inquiry or fulfil a contract. This does not apply if we have to store data for a longer period of time due to storage obligations under commercial and tax law or if data is required to safeguard legitimate interests. For the assertion, enforcement or defence of claims, we store data until the end of the statutory limitation period (generally three years after the end of the year in which a claim may have arisen). We store data for direct marketing purposes, provided there is no objection to the processing for this purpose.

As a person concerned within the meaning of the GDPR, you have the following rights, if the respective prerequisites are fulfilled, which are shown to you in the following paragraph.

If you have given us permission to process personal data for a specific purpose, this permission can be revoked at any time (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR).

If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about your person (Art. 15 GDPR).

Should incorrect personal data be processed, you have the right to be informed (Art. 16 GDPR).

If the legal requirements are met, you can demand that the processing be deleted or restricted (Art. 17 or 18 GDPR).

If you have consented to data processing or if a contract exists and you are entitled to data transferability with regard to the automatically processed data you have provided us with on this basis (Art. 20 GDPR).

Should you make use of the above-mentioned rights, RM Rudolf Müller Events GmbH will check whether the legal requirements for this have been fulfilled.
